This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains how Belize Shared Adventures handles cancellations, weather changes, schedule changes, no-shows, and refund requests for shared-tour reservations.
Before Payment
There is no confirmed reservation before availability, pickup details, timing, and payment instructions are reviewed. If you send a request and decide not to continue before payment, simply let us know so the request can be closed.
After Confirmation
Once a tour is confirmed, the cancellation terms sent with your written confirmation or payment instructions apply to that booking. Different tours may have different rules because of guide scheduling, transport, boat space, park fees, cruise timing, and supplier requirements.
Guest Cancellations
If you need to cancel, contact Belize Shared Adventures as early as possible with your name, tour date, tour name, and reservation reference if available. Early notice gives the best chance to adjust shared seats, transfer details, guide assignments, and any refund options that may apply.
No-Shows and Late Arrival
Guests who do not arrive at the confirmed pickup point, arrive too late for the tour to operate safely, or provide incorrect pickup details may be treated as a no-show. No-show payments may be non-refundable depending on the confirmed terms for that tour.
Cruise, Flight, and Water Taxi Changes
If your ship, flight, or water taxi schedule changes, contact us as soon as possible. We will review whether the tour can still operate, whether timing can be adjusted, or whether another option is more practical. Schedule changes outside the operator’s control may affect refund options.
Weather and Operator Cancellations
Some Belize tours depend on river, cave, road, marine, park, or weather conditions. If a tour cannot operate safely or practically, Belize Shared Adventures may help arrange a reschedule, alternate tour, credit, or refund option based on the confirmed booking terms and supplier requirements.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method when possible. Bank, card, processor, currency conversion, or third-party fees may be outside Belize Shared Adventures’ control. Refund timing can vary by payment provider.
How to Request a Cancellation
Send your cancellation request through the contact page or the message thread used for your reservation. Include your full name, tour date, tour name, pickup area, and reservation reference if you have one.
